Participated in Auto-X for the last 5 years or so, participated in Rally-X events in 2007, participated in the 2007 AKA Rally (3000+ mile cross-country road rally-(it's-not-a-race *wink*). For 2007 the AKA Rally was my honeymoon, raced my then-stock 5M-GE Supra on the Bonneville Salt Flats, only got 118mph though. Participated in multiple Drift events @ Portland Internation Raceway (PIR), participated in the NW Toy Run '08, and various Cascade Sports Car Club TSD (Time, Speed, Distance) road rallies. Also worked pit crew/mechanic for Coomes in the PRO AM circuit of Formula D in his Vegas & Evergreen events (can only get so much time off work), also done pit crew work for Formula Mazda stuff. Would you like some help working with the wordpress website and forums? I used to do web design, professionally, like as in paid my meals & rent by doing it. I used to work with Jared & Hybrid Industries (they did PSI's, Andrew Coomes', and Peter Taylors website to name a few).

I just tried to log into the forums over on the official DriftCrown.com domain... (which loads really really slow. I don't know who's hosting bacdesigns.biz/ but they're slow.)

Anyways, several things.

1) All the forum sections/posts are hidden.
2) It appears that we are going to have to re-register??
2) a) This can be avoided by doing a database export and import onto the new forums... Glad to see we're getting new forums, I like phpBB.

Also, instead of doing a blind screen (making the page that the forums are on just show driftcrown.com, I would suggest doing either a MOD Rewrite, or doing a masked folder/alias, or a forwarded subdomain so that the end user sees this:

forums.driftcrown.com or
driftcrown.com/forums and it simply points them to

bacdesigns.biz/DriftCrown/forum

but they always know to type in forums.driftcrown.com or driftcrown.com/forums

Just a few pointers / suggestions.

Oh... and the default restrictions on here are a PITA, thank goodness we're switching over to phpBB.

I had to re-edit my post about 6 times to get it to post since "New members aren't allowed to post external links for the first seven days."
